Film photography as a whole has become a deeply personal project, and has found a permanent spot in my camera bag. I develop and scan scan at home and have found it to be a wonderful, albeit humbling, learning experience. The hands-on nature of the process has unlocked a love for photography I didn’t know I was missing, while forcing me to own my failures along side my successes. Because of the margin of error, below are the moments I wanted for myself- after digital photography had carried the critical work load.

I don’t think I’ll ever create a perfect film photo in my life, but that isn’t going to stop me from trying.
